Who said Hunters are boring ......this take off blew my socks off ....There was a degree of whooping and hollering and swearing shortly after the aircraft had passed the end of the runway .....Forgive some into the sun and dodgy panning shots but I was trying to duck and take pics at the same time !
An estimated 10,000 military aircraft crashed in Britain during WW2 , the crashes did not stop there though and continue still . This Blog , in early stages of development , shows a variety of details regarding the crash sites and contain photographs that relate the crash sites and wreckage to thier enviroment .

F*** me how close to the deck is that! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYou had a good day then, I see.
Yes , it could have been better though Ian .....your mate from YAM ,that Ian with the Vic seemed to be running the night shoot it was a complete fuck up , they kept pissing about with the aircraft just as the sun was best set in the sky all the best light was lost and then the halogen building site lights just kept tripping out ,me and Al gave it up as a bad job, it looked like it never would get going ! For the very few who stayed it turned out ok but we had lost it by that time .
DeleteYeah Al mentioned it the other day. No mate of mine, I had him sussed from the outset. These are great shots though, he couldn't fuck about with this!
