The plane had been named 'Dear Mom'
At the location it is still easy to see scarring where the aircraft crashed ....scars are even spaced that seem to indicate where the engines impacted.
Good to revisit these places Paul. That was a grand day out in the Dales, probably our best outing up there. Recall we thought all that remaining snow was going to be covering all the crash sites, but we were lucky.
